ISO

Overview

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an international-standard-setting body for various industries except electricity. It was set up in 1947. Initially, ISO was called the ISO 9000 series (consists of ISO 9001, 9002, and 9003). The first edition (version) was launched in 1987, and revised in 1994.,ISO 9002 and 9003 were unified into ISO 9001 in December 2000. The ISO 9001 was upgraded from the 2000 version to the 2008 version in November 2008.

The Company has been registered under the 2008 version of ISO9001 in March 2010 as well.

Approval Status

Starting with YAS U.K. in 1995, the Yusen Air Group has acquired ISO 9002 (*) certification in 22 subsidiaries to January 2010.
