YUSEN LOGISTICS CO., LTD. NARITA LOGISTICS CENTER has supported the safe and efficient handling of cargo since September, 2000.
We offer also expanded storage facilities featuring a quake-absorbing controlling system, controlled temperature and humidity storage, the latest IT, a cargo handling system, a "CLASS 1000" clean room for the inspection of high-precision instruments, and two licenses in accordance with the New Pharmaceutical Affairs Law. These are among the largest cargo facilities outside of Narita Airport and were completed in March, 2005.

LARGE-SCALE WAREHOUSE QUAKE-ABSORBING CONTROLLING SYSTEM
YLK has constructed a large-scale warehouse equipped with a Quake-Absorbing Controlling System [the first such facility (*)]. It protects important articles from earthquakes.

SECURITY AND SAFETY CONTROL BASED ON TAPA STANDARDS
YLK monitors important cargo 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, for crimes such as theft with a security and safety control system based on TAPA (*) Standards.
- *What is TAPA?
TAPA is an international warehouse safety standard used by the Transported Asset Protection Association for its certification.

CLASS 1000 CLEAN ROOM
A clean room (*) is available to keep precision instruments free from dust.
- *Class 1000 clean room :
has less than 1000 particles larger than 0.5 microns in each cubic foot of air space and in addition to that, the temperature and the humidity of the environment are controlled. 1 micrometer (micron) = 1/1000 mm.
TWO LICENSES TO HANDLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS & DEVICES
In accordance with the New Pharmaceutical Affairs Law (revised on April 1, 2005), this logistics center has two licenses for medical devices: One is the Manufacturing License (the Process of Packaging, Labeling or Storage category), and the other is the Retail or Rental Business License of Specially Controlled Medical Devices.

Storage is available to keep articles under strict temperature and humidity control.
INTRODUCTION OF LED LIGHTING SYSTEM
Two hundred and twenty six LED lights have been installed in warehousing sections
with a total area of approximately 6,900m2 on the first floors of
Building A and Building B.
This has benefits such as reducing maximum
electricity consumption, making it possible to get work started
immediately as they light up quickly after turning them on, and
improving safety and work efficiency as they brightly illuminate
floor surfaces and cargo.
EXPORT ULD HANDLING FOR SAFE TRANSPORTATION
The latest workstation is designed to allow YAS to build ULDs, which can be transported safely and quickly throughout the international YAS network.
IMPORT ULD HANDLING FOR SAFE TRANSPORTATION
YAS strives to reduce cargo-damage during transportation by our own ULD build-up,
as well as the careful and safe break down of cargo by ourselves.
EXPORT OPERATION ALL IN ONE PLACE
Export operation centers such as a Consolidation Center, Customs Clearance Center, Warehouse Section and Logistics Section, are located in the same building to allow the efficient handling of cargo.
OPTIMAL WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
YAS operates two kinds of WMS (*). One is a major system from a vendor, which has various functions and is available for complicated and advanced logistics business. Another is a YAS developed system for handling simple logistics. YAS offers total cargo solutions to the customer's needs.
- *WMS (Warehouse Management System):
Physical distribution warehouse management system. This integrates a series of warehouse processes, including inventory management, as well as storing, picking, inspection, classification, packing and shipping.
