Yusen Air & Sea Service Co., Ltd. (President: Shunichi Yano; "YAS," hereafter) and Panalpina World Transport (Japan) Ltd. (Representative Director Japan : Andreas Behnke; "Panalpina," hereafter) are pleased to announce that the following changes will be made to the Panalpina agency operational structure in relation to international transport, in the interests of providing even better convenience to customers in Japan.

Since February 1, 2007, the YAS Group and Panalpina Group have concluded
a comprehensive agreement on mutual cooperation with respect to worldwide
freight forwarding. YAS has been entrusted with agency services in Japan
in relation to Panalpina's air and sea transportation, and likewise,
YAS has entrusted Panalpina with agency services in specific regions.

Following the changes to the handling system outlined above, YAS intends
to continue offering services including export & import customs
clearance, domestic transportation & delivery and logistics facilities
to Panalpina and Panalpina's customers alike, under its alliance with
Panalpina. Moreover, YAS plans to maintain its overseas agency agreements
with each of the Panalpina Group companies across 23 countries, and
further enhance services that use the network of the Panalpina Group.
