Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd. (President: Hiromitsu Kuramoto) has recently established Yusen Logistics (Dalian) Ltd. The new company will commence operations in March 2012.

Although the business operated by the Yusen Logistics Group in the Dalian area of China has been centered on forwarding, the Company has set up a new logistics warehouse in the Dalian Dayaowan Free Trade Port Area, to meet demand from customers including those in the Dalian area and the Northern China area.

A Japanese employee is to be stationed at the logistics warehouse. Taking advantage of the free trade zone function, the warehouse will also meet diverse customer needs, such as VMI*, nonresident inventory, logistics processing, and deemed exports and imports.

Yusen Logistics will seek to further improve the quality of its services and satisfy customers by providing a range of services from forwarding to logistics.
