Concerning the system to protect intellectual property rights

China promised to fully comply with the TRIPS agreement, the global standard for the protection of intellectual property rights, at the time of the accession to the WTO in 2001.
Despite the implementation of successive amendments to the laws and regulations, there is still rampant infringement of intellectual property rights going on, it is therefore important for the company not only to prevent counterfeit goods from being distributed in mainland China but also to prevent them from being exported overseas at the time of the customs clearance.

  1. What is TRIPS as the global standard for the protection of intellectual property rights?
  2. China's entry into the WTO and the TRIPS agreement
