*What does "Trade VAN" mean?

Trade Van = the Trade Value Added Network
EDI system introduced in 1992 in an effort to accelerate and simplify import and export-related procedures, which connects all government offices, banks, and traders involved in import and export in a network and is similar to NACCS (Nippon Automated Cargo Clearance System), the customs clearance system in Japan.
